Report from a Vibe Coding workshop for non-engineers

01 Overview
Not just Vibe Coding — a way to ship ideas.
Tokyo has no shortage of free AI talks and hackathons. But listening to a talk is very different from building a product with your own hands that can keep growing.
So AOI Lab ran a one-day workshop for people without a technical background: find a problem in everyday life or work, and use AI to turn it into something others can try, test and share. Three hands-on parts, one full cycle, one day.

Think, build, validate — the day

Design Thinking — find the problem, decide what to build
After case studies on how ideas become live products, participants dug into small everyday frustrations, then defined their product and core user.

Vibe Coding — build with AI, and ship
What front end, back end and AI models each do, and how to tell AI what you want. Then everyone built their product and launched a first version.

Market Validation — let people try it, test the value
User testing in pairs, improvements from feedback, and the question of who would pay and why. The day closed with one-minute demos from everyone.
